After you have spent a few days exploring the Jervis Bay area, it's now time to continue south to Narooma. You will find numerous unspoilt beaches, lakes and fantastic fishing, so don't rush as you have lots to see and explore on route.
Why not start you day with a short walk around the Booderee Botanic Gardens with over 1600 species by a beautiful small freshwater Lake called Lake McKenzie.
Milton is the first small town you will come across and it is known locally for its arts and crafts with some great little cafes and art galleries to check out.
Ulladulla is the next town you will pass and it used by locals as a base for a wide variety of water based activities (this means you won't be paying tourist prices!) for activities such as boating, canoeing, diving and surfing spots that this area has to offer.

Nearby is Morton National Park and those of you who like a challenge, then you should climb Pigeon House Mountain which has stunning views of the surrounding area for those who reach the summit. Why not make a detour and visit Fitzroy Falls? |

Tame Eastern Gray Kangaroos, then you must stop at Murramarang National Park. This area is famous for its laid back kangaroos! This would be my suggestion for the next stop on your trip as you can stay in a number of great campsites near the beaches and best of all the Kangaroos are very friendly and they will visit the campsites and come up to you and hello! They are even known to chill out on the beach and some kangaroos have even been spotted cooling off in the surf by the beachside! |

There are lots of other FREE things to do and explore in this area, so take your time and enjoy this beautiful part of NSW.

This is Travel Wheels recommendation for the second place to stop on your trip to Melbourne. The Murramarang National Park is a special place that is often overlooked by the big rush to get to where ever people are going! Stop here and you can swim, kayak, surf in the clear waters or enjoy the many walks either in the forest or by the numerous beaches such as Pebbly or Depot Beach for example. If this not your thing then how about interacting with the friendly Kangaroos and this will put a smile even on a weary travellers face!
