There is a lovely café named The Grounds Café which we highly recommend! They use their own grown veggies in their menus, and you can enjoy sitting in the little cottage garden or under the vine-covered veranda. The cafe has fresh-smelling herbs, vegetables and strawberries.
Close to The Grounds, Perry Park Recreation Centre is on the corner of Bourke Road and Maddox Street. It has basketball courts and facilities, but parking in the surrounding streets is limited. Check the street signs carefully for current parking restrictions.
