To rent a campervan in Australia with Travelwheels Campervan Hire you need to be 18 years old and be in possession of a full driving licence. Also the Police require you to have an international driving licence or a certificated translation when you are from overseas and don’t have an Australian driving licence. (or one in English!)

If you are 18 or 19 years of age then the only different is the amount of security deposit you have to pay. With travelwheels campervan hire we ask for $2000 insurance excess reduction bond. If you are 20 years or older you can also choose one of our additional insurance options:

Green Insurance = $25 per day to have a $ZERO insurance excess bond!
