Used SUV for sale in Sydney with Roof Tent + Camping Gear

Travelwheels has this Nissan Dualis used SUV for sale at our Botany depot in Sydney.

We sell loads of Roof Tent SUVs because they give two travellers a cheap way to combine transport and your accommodation in one package.

The SUV seats five, the Roof Tent sleeps two, and the vehicle is ready to view and test drive in Sydney.

Why choose a used SUV for sale with a Roof Tent?

A Roof Tent changes what you can do with an SUV in Australia.

Drive it like a normal car during the day, then open the Roof Tent when you stop for the night.

For two people, that means your bed travels with you without permanently converting the vehicle’s interior. You still have the cabin and rear storage area for luggage and your travel gear.

If you are comparing a campervan with a used SUV for sale, this setup gives you another option: a compact SUV for driving, plus a separate Roof Tent for sleeping.

Your Roof Tent becomes your bedroom within minutes of stopping

This is where the setup really earns its place.

The Roof Tent stays folded on the SUV while you are driving. When you arrive at your campsite, open it up, and you have a dedicated sleeping area for two above the vehicle.

That leaves the inside of the SUV available for your luggage and day-to-day travelling.

For travellers looking at a used SUV for sale with a Roof Tent, the attraction is simple: one vehicle gives you transport during the day and somewhere to sleep at night.

Wake up to a new view in Australia for free!

Australia is made for road trips.

One morning you can wake up near the coast, another beside a national park, and then move on when you are ready.

With your own SUV and Roof Tent, your accommodation travels with you. That can save money on hotels and gives you more freedom to decide where you go next.

Buying a used SUV for sale with a Roof Tent means the vehicle is not just getting you around Australia. It becomes part of the travelling experience.

Cook, camp and travel around Australia

The idea is simple. Drive during the day, set up when you arrive and enjoy having your own transport and sleeping area wherever the road takes you.

This vehicle is being sold as a road-trip setup with a Roof Tent and camping gear.

Four Friends Travelled Australia for Six Months for AUD $1,500 Each

Four friends bought a used SUV for sale from Travelwheels for AUD $10,000 and completed the big loop around Australia within six months!

Split four ways, their original purchase cost was AUD $2,500 each.

They returned to Sydney in July during the quieter winter season, when finding a private buyer before their flights home was harder.

After two weeks, they could not find a buyer, but fortunately, they had arranged their Travelwheels Guaranteed Buyback before leaving Sydney.

This buyback guarantee allowed them to sell it back to Travelwheels for a set price and get a percentage of their money back at the last minute.

Guaranteed Buyback Rates

• Up to 3 months: 50%
• Up to 6 months: 40%
• Over 6 months: 30%

After six months, Travelwheels bought their SUV back for AUD $4,000, subject to the agreed terms.

That gave them AUD $1,000 back each and reduced their final vehicle cost to just AUD $1,500 each for six months travelling Australia.

If you are buying a used SUV for sale for a longer trip, ask our team about arranging Guaranteed Buyback before you leave Sydney.
